aaaaahhhhhhh....
Thank you so much for all the prayers, guys. They have definitely worked. I feel tons better today than I did yesterday. Still a bit foggy-headed and still occasionally stumbling, but feeling SO much better!
The shrieking is a bit less, but still more than previously. I can still hear it even when other sounds are going on, but it's not as overwhelming. The headache is basically gone. I get twinges of it every little bit, but it doesn't just come and devour my head today. *whew*
I slept pretty well last night. I informed Tommy that he'd have to take Tucker for pee-poos as I was going to try actually SLEEPING. And since I had taken a SLEEPING AID, it would probably be a good idea if I didn't get up umpteen times during the night.
Well, he took him potty alright. But does he do like me? And go quietly, through the darkness and with much silence?
No.
He gets up, turns on the big light, calls for Tucker---LOUDLY--- and makes this big production of taking the dog to dump a load!
GAH!
So, while I didn't have to get up...I did have to wake up because even the folks over in the cemetery couldn't have slept through all the noise that man makes! Sheesh.
Anyhow, I am feeling lots better today. I am SO thankful! And very grateful for your prayers and concern.
Have a happy Thursday!!!

You really shouldn't smack yourself in the forehead, you might make your headache come back!!
Hey, you've had a hard week!
I hope you had a good nights sleep last night, so you'll know that today's Saturday. Very important, as I'm sure the boys wouldn't like it if you made them do schoolwork on a Saturday!!

Hi G...I figured I'd better come by and say hi instead of making snippy comments and leaving. I DO hope you are feeling better. It sucks to be sick. Are you taking your vitamins? Lots of vitamin C? I'm really good about taking mine since we all got sick. Too bad they don't make attitude vitamins that make you snap out of a funk, you know? I'd buy a truck load.
And what's up with that dog peeing all night? I've heard that small dogs are hard to train (some nearly impossible). Was Tucker ever trained or is this going out all night a new thing? May be a medical reason for it if it's a new thing.
Anyway, hugs and prayers going to you down yonder.

I am SOOO glad to hear you are feeling somewhat better, G. Prayer really works!! Now to get some rest. You deserve it!
Posted by: chrysalis | February 12, 2006 06:46 AM
hehe, now Kym? Do you think I wouldn't take my vitamins?!?!? ;) Actually, I'm not taking ALL of the ones I usually do. After being prescribed a ton more, it's kinda hard to keep taking those. Urgh. But something must be helping. Thank the Lord!
on Tucker..yeah, he finally got trained, but sometimes he has pee-itis or something. He did that once, and we realized he'd had some broth that was very salty & he makea da mucho pee-o. URGH!
Thanks for the prayers!

Thanks, mister chrys-dude. ;) Prayers certainly do work!!!
I have been able to get some rest this weekend. Case's bball game was cancelled, so we slept in and we got more snow last night (nothing like you're used to, I'm CERTAIN!) and decided to just stay in today too.
That pesky headache attempts to come back occasionally, but it never gets monsterous, thank God!!
Hope you're having a great weekend!
~hugs~

hey scooter!
i dont know which of us is worse. i think i win bc of the stairs thing combined with an ear infection and swollen tonsil that is throbbing as i type.
sorry you have been feeling crappy poohbear.
Posted by: k8 | February 13, 2006 06:20 AM
Dia---BINGO! You got it! Men are SOOOO devious (but not you, chrys...lol!)
k8---Gah, pooky! I hadn't been by your place in a few days...so sorry YOU'RE feeling like a crappy poohead...oh wait, that's not 'zackly what you said, is it? ;) I hate sore throats!! What works best for me is mega gargling of the nasty Listerine...the old kind, not the new "tasty" kinds. And head repeatedly over eucalyptus-laced steamy water and "breathe deep my pasty friend" (y'know? from that mercial?)
Didja git it from them monklets? Law, I hope so. You SO don't need to introduce some other whiny-clingy monkey producing bacterium into their environment.
Heh.
Feel beddah soon, dumplin'!!
