« now hear this! | Main | friday frittys »

can't --- stop --- saying --- it!!!

I reject your reality and substitute my own...

Bwah-ha-ha-haaa!! I thought that was THE funniest thing when I heard Adam Mythbuster first say it on the show.

I WANT A T-SHIRT!!!! They have them now, you know. T-shirts with that phrase on them!! See?

TOO. COOL!

But the really awful thing is...I CAN'T STOP SAYING "I reJECT your realiTY and substitute my OWN!"

That just cracks me up!!! See?

Yeah, I know, I know. I'm a bit too easily amused. That may be, but....

I reject your reality and susbstitute my own!

HA! Take THAT! ROFLMBO!!!! Oh man! I crack me up!!!

ROFLOL You crack me up, too, G~!!!!! LOL

Mel just look up the show, it's on tonight at 7. I think we might try and watch it. Kristen told Mel it was a good show, too! So that's two glowing reports! Guess we'll have to try it!

As you know, I'm the lone female in a house full of testosterone (save for one of the dogs). How come I have never ever never heard of this show?? Is it cable? We don't have the cable.

It's pretty good, Linda. The two of them science dudes are pretty wack, but the show's good all the same. However, until you hear Adam say those famous words, you have not really seen the show.

;)

Yeah, it's cable, Abby, but I'm pretty sure you can get the first season on dvd now! If you have an online service (like blockbuster) you can usually find just about anything...even weird science-y shows. ;)
Aw, poo. Nope, blockbuster doesn't have it yet (altho, I will be suggesting it to them!) but you CAN find it here if you're just bustin' to know what you're missin'! :)

Hi Mrs G~,

It is always a hoot to blog over here and follow along with your adventures.

Never a dull moment :)

Hey, I really like the new Dawn dishsoap, it really does work :)

Blessings,

Paul

Ooohhhh we love mythbusters!

We watched it last night, and everyone liked it!

LOL!

I've been doing that for years. And nobody seems to mind. Maybe it's because they're doing it too.

Hiya, Paul! Good to "see" you here at The Society. ;)

Direct Foam rocks!!!! Woo!!

Take care!

They are so COOL, huh Angie? :) I dunno what "type" of person a Mythbusters watcher would be, but somehow, I wouldn't have thought you'd be one! Don't even ask me what that means. I guess maybe that you seem like a perfectionist person to me and well...with all the 'attempts' they can make trying to disprove a myth...LOL!
Anyhow...yeah...Mythbusters RULE! ;)

Um...you've been doing WHAT for years, Chrys?? cracking yourself up? LOL!

Well, I say if nobody else is going to appreciate my humor, I will just have to do it myself!

*pthththt*

*WHEW!!* I'm glad to hear ya'll liked it, Linda. Even tho I'd seen that episode before, I watched again to see if there was anything I thought ya'll might find objectionable. I'd die if there was something offensive on a show *I* recommended!! Gah!

So...didja watch Dirty Jobs after Mythbusters??? We watch that one a lot too.

...but not during supper. GUH!

Oh G~ you always make me smile. :)

Nope, we didn't see anything objectionable. We all watched it. We LOL, literally, at the guys in diapers! ROFLOL

I've heard about the dirty jobs show, but have never watched more that a few seconds of one. We didn't the other night either. We try to have the little kids in bed by 9, so we were occupied with that! It's hilarious! We do the whole bedtime thing, pray with them, walk back to the livingroom, and there's always at least 1, if not 2, kids RIGHT BEHIND US!!! So, um, yeah, We didn't watch that show! lol

LOL! Diaper Man is the one who said the quote. He really is a hoot. He is so unlike Jamie (aka Mustache Man) but together, they're really funny!

Glad you found it acceptable. there are times when they bleep out words for reasons other than keeping people from knowing how to make explosive stuff! But the stuff they do is really cool and at least 60% educational, don't you think? Heh! Always have to measure the educational value, we do!

Dirty Jobs...well, the guy that hosts it uses the Lord's name in vain a bit much, which bothers me, but it's (usually!) pretty interesting to see the different things he does.

Sometimes we get to see him get a taste of the kinds of jobs T and my dad do! That's a HOOT!!

Case will say "Wull I go in those pipes all the time w/o a respirator" or something like that. The boys all laugh at how he (host) ewwws and ick!s. They think he's a baby! LOL!
