hope fulfilled: the update
We went,
"You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live in torment if you don't trust enough." --Frank Crane
we ate,
"I saw few die of hunger; of eating, a hundred thousand." ---Benjamin Franklin
we regretted it.
"Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable."
-Sydney J. Harris
Gah! :)
Oh, and the boys, Linda's daughter and dh had a blast at the concert.

I'm sorry you regretted going out to eat, and hope it was only the restaurant choice/food that made you regret it!
Unless of course, you regretted it, because you missed the LOUD concert!
Yep, they had a blast!!
But I'm GLAD I stayed home!
K went to sleep at around 8:15, and the little kids were in bed at 8:30. I watched Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants in peace!!!
Well, if you don't count the 3 times D called me from the concert so I could hear the music!! ROFLOL

I sort of live by this motto, but for me it's always been risk in place of trust.

When I was a kid summer vacation was an eternity. Now the calendar flips by so fast that it looks like something from a cartoon.

I see my subtleties were insufficient.
I shall have to post an explainatory entry.
Oh bother...
